Porsche 911 RSR Mary Stuart

The basement:
The resine kit was made by Bitume Slot Racing which has a cooperation with Proto. The RSR is the second model from BSR after the Chevron from 1970. The original raced in Le Lans 1973 and finished fourth.

The conversion:
Here's a picture of everything which is included in the kit. The body with some parts, screens, a interior, Decals and so on. i ordered the car pre-painted in silver. You also need a Fly Porsche 911 to complete the resine kit.

The interiors in comparison. The left one is the stock Fly interior and the right one is it after my conversion. I removed the second driver with the belts and filled all holes after that. And I replaced the old helmet with the one from the Bitume kit. After that I painted the helmet in red and white so it looks like Herbert Müller.

The resine body has no holes for the Fly headlights so I had to make some and put it the original Fly Porsche 911 headlights.

The rims are also included in the kit but I adapted them to the Fly axles and painted them black. The decals are also in the kit and fit perfect on the body.

At last I painted the skirts in red and put the decals on them. After that I varnished everything and assembled the car. Finished is the Porsche 911 RSR from 1973.
