The kit is made by Hornby which is related to Scalextric where you can get the 996 GT3 R too. Nowadays the kit isn't easy to get but I took the chance while they were still available and ordered a bunch of them.
The conversion:
The kit is quiet simple. One part is the body and an other is the wing. That's the whole body.
Decals were complete selfmade. I got help finding the badges from an collector, who made the same model in scale 1/18.
The chassis is also simple but well made. I just added some color to it.
Here the painted rims. You can't roll or steer the model but that's the concept of the Hornby kits.
The interior also got some color. And as you can see it wasn't my only GT3 R kit. I made 5 of them at the same time.
