Porsche 908/3 Targa Florio Test 1970

The basement:
This time I used a brand new Nuerburgring version from Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood for my conversion.

The conversion:
Here you already see the body with its first paint; a light flat grey. I scratched the body when the paint was stil wet. Why? You will see...

Second paint. This tima a very dark flat grey which I haven't sprayed on the whole body.

And the final paint. Normal white paint was used. But I tried to paint as "ugly" as I could. And I sanded parts of the body so now you see the effect. The different grey colors are viewable now through the white paint.

To make the car look totally used it was sanded and scratched. But the whole time I tried to keep the model as real as possible so you will find most of the scratches on the original too.

Final details: A red seat bucket was built, some parts were painted white and grey and I removed the driver (the testing vehicle was driven by nearly every Porsche pilote in these days so I didn't want so decide which one I put in).

The body was also modified from beneath. Therefor I used black color and a old toothbrush.

The finished model:
