Porsche 911 Le Mans 1970 Nr.43


The basement:
For this conversion I used a Fly Porsche 911 from 1972 because it has the same body as the 1970 version from Le Mans.

The conversion:
Carving the car is much more difficult than the same work on the Porsche 908/3. The 911 has more parts and looks better than the simple 908/3 model from Fly.

The body was completely sanded and I also filled the holes from the mirrrow and the addition headlights.

After that, I painted the body again in yellow. The door panels were painted in black.

The windshield seals were also painted. It's a difficult work but I managed it with silver and black color.

I assembled the body again. Now you can also see the skirts which I painted in black as well.

Here's the beginning of the decalwork. Some decals were bought from Revell and virage and the rest were selfmade. I also underlaid all decals with white foil so the colors look better on the yellow car.
