Porsche 996 GT3 Cup 24h Nürburgring 2006

The basement:
I used two cars for this conversion because there isn't a Porsche 996 GT3 Cup on the market. So I took a streetversion GT3 RS and a raceversion GT3 R and made one car out of them. The original car started at the 24hrs race Nürburgring in 2006.

The conversion:
Here's the beggining of my conversion. The rear wings were exchanged. So the body of the GT3 RS got the GT3 R racing parts.

The interior and the wheels were also adapted from the GT3 R. Here you can see the car which I assembled to see how it looks like.

I also had to adapt the tires. I made slicks out of the street tires.

Here are the two different interiors. On the top is the old street interior and below the new racing interior before adapting.

The body was painted in violett, which I mixed by myself. The color isn't 100% correct but it's close to the original one.

After that the car was assembled again and some details like the rear wing holder, the side markers or the mirrows (which are from a Lamborghini Countach) were also painted. And than I send the car to Slovakia where the car got his deals and where it was varnished.
