Porsche 997 GT3 RSR

The basement:
The conversion is based on a Carrera model, which is the only matching body type in scale 1/32.
The original car won the 24hrs on the Nuerburgring in 2008 for the Manthey Racing team.

The conversion:
At first you think that the Manthey car looks like any other GT3 RSR but that's not correct. I had to drill a hole for an air intake...

...as well as a new front-lip, a new rear-wing, a diffusor and small flaps for the front of the car.

I adapted the colors of the driver so it looks like Marc Basseng is sitting in the car right now.

Here the painted car with its first decals. The colors are exactely the same ones, used from Manthey.
Wasn't easy to get them, but the result speaks for itself. Here a shooting with the real car: [modell vs. original]

About 100 decals turn a green and yellow stock GT3 RSR into the winner car from Manthey.

Last but not least I worked on the chassis and axis because the Carrera model is way to high.
