Joest Porsche LMP1 Le Mans 1998 Nr.7 and Nr.8

The basement:
I built the Joest Porsche twice. But of course not the same car two times. One was the number 7 and the other had number 8. Both cars drove in the 24h of Le Mans 1998 and fit perfect to my Porsche GT1's. I used two Joest Porsche from Fly with the hagenuk livery and decalseets from Patto's GT1 decals.

The conversion:
Bith models lost their Hagenuk livery and were polished afterwards. So I hadn't had to paint them new; they were already white.

But the decalwork was very hard and took a lot of time. As I already said, I used decalsheets which were made for the Porsche GT1's. But these didn't fit to the Joest bodies and so I had to adapt them centimeter for centimeter.

Here are both bodies with finished decals. I could use many decals from the GT1 version but I had to made the rest by myself.

The new drivers. I painted them like the original one's and detailed them a little bit; new gloves and shoes.

After that I varnished the bodies and painted some details. For example the green and yellow parts on the air-intakes and th mirrows.

The last details. The rear wing was shortened and I put in two bars on each wing.
